Swedish composer Mattias Sjöberg (b. 1971) seeks to explore the expressive and spiritual depths of music, primarily choral and vocal music. Most (though not all!) of the music is composed for church use in the cathedral in his hometown of Uppsala.

 

  His music have been performed in various parts of Sweden as well as in Germany, Austria, France and Iceland. He is also active as singer in Uppsala cathedral.
